National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) - One Nation, One Card for transport mobility is an initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA). NCMC automates the fare collection across various segments including metro, bus, suburban trains, toll and parking etc. are predominantly in cash thereby causing multiple challenges associated with the cash collection/payment including cash handling, revenue leakages, cash reconciliation etc. MoHUA has come out with a National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) model to enable seamless travel by different metros and other transport systems across the country besides small value payments

STQC is assigned the responsibility of assessment and Certification of NCMC Eco system as per specifications from part 4 to part 7.
