Non Electrical Calibration Service is also an important calibration service to industry. Almost all the laboratories of STQC are providing non electrical calibration services for Temperature, Humidity, Acceleration, Dimensions, Mass, Pressure and Electro Optical parameters for more than two decades. The calibration facilities are regularly upgraded with state of art technology equipments/standards. It helps STQC laboratories to maintains and Upgrade measurement capabilities traceable to the national and international standards.
The Non Electrical Calibration standards held by the STQC laboratories are traceable to the national standards through the high Precision Calibration Laboratories.
The laboratories also cater to the mobile/on-site calibration requirement of customers. These services are provided to customers as on site calibration services for almost all electronic test and measuring instruments, on request.
The calibration reports issued has wide acceptability and includes measurement uncertainty. The turn around time for calibration of instruments is minimum and the calibration charges are rationalized across the STQC laboratories.
Recognitions and Accreditation:
The quality system implemented in the laboratory and the technical competence comply to the requirement of the international standard ISO / IEC17025.The laboratories are accredited/in the process of accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL). The standards maintained are traceable to national standards.
The laboratories also participate in the Proficiency Testing (PT) programs organized by both National and International accreditation bodies and have satisfactory performance. It is an important requirement of ISO/IEC 17025 Standard,. It also serves as a nodal agency/reference laboratory for organizing the PT programs for NABL. In addition self-initiated PT programs, are also organized by the STQC High Precision Laboratories.
