Electronics Test & Development Centre (ETDC), Guwahati is one among the nation-wide chain of 15 STQC test laboratories in addition to 1 (one) Centre for Reliability (CFR) & 1(one) Indian Institute of Quality Management (IIQM) operating in the North-Eastern region, under the Standardisation Testing & Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. In order to focus on Information Technology and related services in the North East region of India, STQC Directorate, has extended its IT services by establishing the IT centre at ETDC Guwahati. The centre is located within the campus of ETDC Guwahati.
Accreditation: NABL accreditation in compliance to ISO/IEC 17025 International Standard in the fields of Electro-technical, Thermal, Mechanical and Optical calibration.
STQC IT Services, ETDC Guwahati is operating in the North-Eastern region in order to promote awareness, commitment and compliance to recognized best practices in the area of Information Technology, Industries, professional bodies, government, private and public sector units of North-Eastern region and other parts of the country are the beneficiaries.
