ETDC, Chennai undertakes Acceptance Testing of Watt-hour/VAr-hour meters as per IS13779, IS14697, IEC62053-21, IEC62053-22, IEC62053-23, testing of Un-interruptible Power Supplies, Servo Stabilizers, Automatic Line Voltage Correctors, Laptops, Taxi Meters, POS machines, IOT based equipment etc., for industries and organizations. Facilities to evaluate the following parameters exist:
- Voltage: 40 to 320 V, 45-65 Hz (1Ø & 3Ø)
- High Voltage: Up to 5 kV DC and AC @ 50 Hz
- Impulse Voltage: Up to 18 kV (500 Ω)
- Surge Voltage: Up to 6 kV (2 Ω & 12 Ω)
- Current: 1 mA to 120 A, 45-65 Hz (1Ø & 3Ø)
