Trusted Electronics Value Chain Certification Scheme

This scheme is to promote Trusted Electronics Value Chain initiatives for ICT Products based on National Policy on Electronics 2019 (NPE 2019). This scheme will facilitate improvement of National Cyber Security profile including National Critical Information infrastructures.
The implementation of this Certification Program is to provide confidence to acquirers of ICT products that the risks associated are addressed by a provider through conformance to this scheme. Demonstration of conformance through this certification program provides formal recognition of a provider’s conformance to the industry standard. Further, this scheme provides confidence to the user agencies that will deploy these trusted products.

Benefits Of Certification

The main aim and objective of the scheme is to provide confidence to the users of the ICT devices that the certified devices are reliable, safe, secure and meet the trust requirements. The compliance to the scheme will help in mitigating maliciously tainted and counterfeit products throughout the COTs ICT Product lifecycle encompassing the following phases: Design, Sourcing, Build, Fulfillment, Distribution, Sustainment and Disposal.

1.    L1: Product Development Life Cycle along with Supply Chain Risk Management
2.    L0: Supply Chain Risk Management only
