Safety testing laboratory established to support industries in safety testing of IT products, Audio/Video equipment, Household appliances (Microwave oven) and Energy meters as per National International standards and also to support BIS for safety testing of 28 products under Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS). Laboratory is planning to establish testing of Medical equipment for Safety as per IEC 60601/IS 13450(Part 1) shortly.
